Aspect Quadra Film is an optically-clear polyester inkjet film that has been specially designed for producing film positives for screen printing. That means you can expect high-density blacks, clear backgrounds and thermal stability for film-to-film registration accuracy. Ten-foot long 4-color positives are no problem for Quadra film. Aspect Quadra inkjet clear film has also found a home in flexographic applications where negative output mode requires a film with superior ink receptivity and accurate rendering without ink spread. Quadra film’s special coating accepts the optimum ink volume, generating a black density range (DMax) of 3.5-4.0. The anti-static backside coating prevents static buildup, enhancing traction and further improving registration. The anti-static coating also improves image quality by preventing ink-droplet deflection caused by static.
Aspect Quadra Film works especially well with Quadra-K Black Dye Ink, a MacDermid Autotype exclusive that enhances edge definition and dot quality to minimize film artifacts. Surface drying time is less than one second, and the film is waterproof.
